The Red Lion Function Suite is situated on the First Floor of the Building (with a dedicated fire escape ) entrance is gained from the main bar area on the ground floor.    There is a Private Bar available if required and a separate Buffet Room for the comfort and convenience of your Guests.  An ideal venue for any occasion whether it be a Christening celebration or a Wedding Reception (St Peters Church directly opposite )  Birthdays - Anniversaries - Business Meetings -  Formal or Family Buffets - Lunches or Dinners.  We offer a comprehensive service that can include either a finger or fork Buffet Service or a full "sit-down" menu.  We can also provide decorations including Flowers or you may of course wish to provide your own.  Our prices include V.A.T. - and the provision of quality crockery, napkins and cutlery.  We have a well established reputation for our Catering having been here at the Red Lion for 8 years now - with our Resident Thanet College Trained Chef .  Most of our menu items are home cooked on the Premises with very little brought in or frozen.  We are more than happy to show you some of the very many letters and cards of appreciation received over the years.  Please do not hesitate to view the facilities and to discuss your requirements.
